Enrolments are now open for BJE classes in 2023
SRE (Scripture) takes place during the School day. In SRE we use a structured curriculum, that teaches your child the fundamentals of their Jewish faith and identity and the Jewish festivals.
This is part of the National Curriculum and a regular part of your child’s timetabled classes every week. We offer Jewish Scripture in schools where there are 3 or more Jewish children. It is free of charge.
Hebrew takes place before or after school (and during the School day at Rose Bay PS for Years K and 1) and is a fee paying course.
The Hebrew curriculum teaches students to a develop strong listening, reading and writing skills in Hebrew.
The Hebrew curriculum teaches students to a develop strong listening, reading and writing skills in Hebrew.
Extension takes place before or after School. This is a fee-paying class that fosters a strong sense of Jewish identity within each student.
The structured curriculum shapes the development and the knowledge and skills to fully participate in Jewish communal life as well as develop a love and appreciation for Israel.
