Enrolments are now open for BJE classes in 2024

Enrol 1
SRE (Scripture) takes place during the School day. In SRE we use a structured curriculum, that teaches your child the fundamentals of their Jewish faith and identity and the Jewish festivals. This is part of the National Curriculum and a regular part of your child’s timetabled classes every week. We offer Jewish Scripture in schools where there are 3 or more Jewish children. It is free of charge.

Hebrew takes place before or after school (and during the School day at Rose Bay PS for Years K and 1) and is a fee paying course.
The Hebrew curriculum teaches students to develop strong listening, reading and writing skills in Hebrew.

Extension takes place before or after School. This is a fee-paying class that fosters a strong sense of Jewish identity within each student.
The structured curriculum shapes the development and the knowledge and skills to fully participate in Jewish communal life as well as develop a love and appreciation for Israel.

A welcoming space outside the academic setting, specifically tailored for primary and high school students enrolled in non-Jewish schools. The BJE HUB is operating in 2 different locations, Bondi location and Randwick location, where students can come together to forge connections and embark on a collective journey of Jewish enrichment.

To enrol your child in Jewish SRE classes, please contact your school and nominate for your child to learn Jewish Scripture with BJE. To see if SRE is offered at your school, click this link.
