Dear BJE Supporters,
As the year ends, a big shoutout to all BJE students. We acknowledge and appreciate your commitment to our programs and your contribution to our community. BJE is a vibrant community because of you, and I hope you have grown in confidence this year, proudly acknowledging your Jewish Identity. To the many high school students we have had the privilege to support this year, I acknowledge that it has not been an easy year for you in the face of escalating antisemitism. Please know that BJE is here to support you. Our youth leaders and teachers are always happy to chat and catch up with you, and I look forward to sharing some new opportunities available to you in 2025.
I sincerely thank our many teachers, youth leaders, and administration staff. Your passion and commitment allow us to reach and support a broad network of Jewish families and children across NSW. Thank you also to our many colleagues at Mt Zion Kindergarten, Hatzofim, Central Synagogue and Masada College who are committed to finding ways to partner with us to support students in NSW public schools. May you all enjoy the respite of the summer break.
In conclusion, I acknowledge our youth engagement team and the 35 students on camp until December 23. May your time together be filled with new friendships, a strengthening connection to your heritage, and the obligatory fun that summer always promises.
