BJE is seeking passionate, caring educators to deliver Special Religious Education (SRE) lessons in NSW public primary schools. As an SRE provider in NSW public schools, BJE plays a vital role in bringing Jewish education into the classroom. In this role, you’ll help students connect with their Jewish identity, traditions and culture—guiding them on their own unique Jewish journey. You will be well supported by comprehensive lesson plans, high-quality resources, and a passionate, committed team.

You’ll work with curious young minds, bring Jewish learning to life, and play a lasting role in shaping their sense of identity and belonging.

Bring warmth, energy and a sense of purpose to their teaching

‍What you will need:
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A valid Working With Children Check
Confidence using technology, including Microsoft Office
A love of Jewish learning, culture and community

As a Youth Engagement Officer (Madrich/a), you’ll be actively involved in engaging primary and high school students, helping plan and run programs and contributing creative ideas for events and initiatives.
