BJE Hub Coordinator (Events & After-School Programs)
Temporary Part Time (14-18 hours per week)
Location: Bondi Office & After-School Hub

BJE is seeking a warm, organised and proactive Coordinator to support our after-schoolcare and holiday programs in Bondi.

This maternity leave cover role blends administration and events management with real, hands-on time with children—whether that’s facilitating activities, supervising play, or getting involved in the day-to-day fun of the program. You’ll play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming space where children connect with their Jewish identity through engaging and meaningful experiences.

Key details:
14–18 hours per week
Availability Mondays & Thursdays (1:00 pm–5:30 pm) essential

About the role
Manage attendance and program bookings
Support delivery of engaging activities and educational programs
Coordinate transport, resources and day-to-day operations
Build positive relationships with children, families and staff

What you’ll bring
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems
Valid NSW Working With Children Check
Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle Certificate IV in a related field – desirable
A genuine interest in Jewish life, culture and community

Special Religious Education (SRE) Teachers
Part-time Casual

Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young Jewish children?

BJE is seeking passionate, caring educators to deliver Special Religious Education (SRE) lessons in NSW public primary schools. As an SRE provider in NSW public schools, BJE plays a vital role in bringing Jewish education into the classroom. In this role, you’ll help students connect with their Jewish identity, traditions and culture—guiding them on their own unique Jewish journey. You will be well supported by comprehensive lesson plans, high-quality resources, and a passionate, committed team.

This is more than teaching. It’s about:
Inspiring pride in being Jewish
Creating a warm and supportive space for learning
Helping children feel connected to their heritage and community

You’ll work with curious young minds, bring Jewish learning to life, and play a lasting role in shaping their sense of identity and belonging.

We’re looking for people who:
Love working with children
Can build genuine connections and inspire engagement
Bring warmth, energy and a sense of purpose to their teaching

What you will need:
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A valid Working With Children Check
Confidence using technology, including Microsoft Office
A love of Jewish learning, culture and community
