In 2013 Year 5 and 6 students in 11 classes at 7 schools took part in Project Heritage. A Holocaust survivor took part as the Living Historian for each class, meeting with the class, telling their story and being questioned by students. After further work and research, the Project culiminated with a presentation made by students about the story of their Historian. The Project is popular with students who enjoy the interaction with an older member of the community and learning about the Holocaust.
The photos below were taken at the presentations made by the students.
