In extraordinary times, BJE has embraced the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam and will be diverting funds from our annual Kol Nidre Appeal to COA Sydney.
COA was founded so that people could remain independent in their own homes with the first service ever provided being Kosher Meals on Wheels.
Since the start of the pandemic and most recently NSW’s second lockdown, COA has experienced an increase in demand for their Kosher Meals on Wheels program. Understandably this has drawn down incredibly on their resources. Literally catering to some of the most vulnerable members of our community, COA are on the frontline ensuring that seniors and people with a disability have food on the table. Their staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly to make this happen.

We are asking for your help with this Kol Nidre Appeal to ensure that no-one in our community goes without a warm meal or needs to worry about where the next meal is coming from.
